Welcome to Al Dente Pasta Shop, established by Luca Sarrocco and Ruth Espinosa. They first crossed paths in New York City while working in the hospitality industry. Despite coming from different countries, they share a common passion for cooking and creating memorable food experiences.
From a young age in Vicenza, Italy, Luca developed a deep love for food while cooking alongside his grandmother. This passion led him to become an experienced chef, gaining culinary expertise in various locations such as Italy, Mexico, New York City, Switzerland, and Dublin.
Ruth's early exposure to the hospitality industry came from working at her parents' restaurant in Mexico. She later gained experience in hospitality in various locations, including Orlando, New York City, Switzerland, and Dublin. This motivated her to pursue a Business degree with the goal of starting her own business, following in her parents' footsteps.
After arriving in Dublin two years ago, we quickly fell in love with the local culture and people. Working in exceptional restaurants alongside amazing individuals solidified our desire to become part of Dublin's food scene.
